Default Track Insurance

I had a bad experience with warranty. Eventually I found a dealer willing to work a problem after manufacturer refused. That was torture. This poor guy w/ the blown engine, spin444, is killing me with pity.

Honestly, I don't care to have a high performance car if I can't track it once a month.

I think Lockton or other track insurance companies would cover a blown engine and fire. I just checked a quote for $55k for 15 events... $5600. That's about a years worth. It's starting to seem worthwhile.

Any thoughts on this, anyone, a $5000 beater doesn't seem like much fun?

NCM just started offering track insurance.

Not sure what all it covers, but might be worth checking with them.

It's track insurance......not track warranty. Would you call Allstate if your motor blew?

LOL. Why would it cover the engine and drive train? So if I know my engine is about to blow all I need to do is get track insurance and take it to a track and run it heavy until it blows? Sounds reasonable...

Third Party coverage versus First Party coverage .

Need to understand the difference. I doubt that there is any FIRST PARTY PHYSICAL DAMAGE coverage being offered on a Track Insurance policy.

People continue to amaze me.
