Default Van Bortel Chevrolet Ordering Thread!

Hello Corvette Forum members

My name is Nate Chandler. I oversee the Corvette Department at Van Bortel Chevrolet. We are fairly new and aim to one day be a top performing dealership. Our local Corvette community is pretty large as we are home to one of the nations oldest Corvette clubs- the Rochester Corvette Club. We've been working hard at earning Corvettes to help support our growth. We hope some of you will give us a try when you're ready to buy your next Corvette!

At this time I can provide $2,000 off 2015 Corvette orders for all Corvette Forum Members. Just be sure to mention you are a Corvette Forum Member when you call.

We also accept GMS and Employee pricing to those who qualify.

We can have your new Corvette shipped to your local dealer if they're willing to perform a courtesy delivery.

Take a look at our website, www.vanbortelchevrolet.net.

Give me a call on my direct line, 585-857-1033.

Thanks for taking the time to look!

-Nate Chandler

Nice to have another forum dealer accepting GMS and GMU. Lots of members are looking for a dealer that will accept the Credit Union or Military Pricing (which I believe are both the same as supplier pricing).

Good luck growing your Corvette business.

Nate,

Are you accepting GSU discount as well (supplier)? Also, how are your allocations looking?

I will accept supplier pricing with a valid authorization number. I've been getting 4-5 Corvettes a month. I currently have 7 sold preliminary orders in the system, next order will be #8.

Thanks, if my dealer doesn't get my order submitted in the next day or so, I'll give you a call.

Mike,

Yeah I've put a deposit down at a local dealer about a month ago and I'm pretty sure he hasn't even submitted the order yet. Not amused by my first foray back into buying a non-German car in years.

I would just like to add Van Bortel Chevrolet is a first class operation, no ifs ands or buts about it.
As for Nate Chandler he is one of the most if not the most skilled Corvette person in the Rochester, NY area.
I have dealt with Nate for almost 7 years starting when he was the main Corvette tech at a Corvette only shop thru his current rise to Dept. Manager at Van Bortel Chevrolet.
Give him a shot at your business and you will not be disappointed.

That is a great offer! Assuming no constraint issues, how soon would you be able to get an order into production?

The order should go into placed status within 8 to 12 weeks assuming no constraints with your order. There's always the possibility of it going through sooner should a customer pass up a weeks allocation in hopes to get a constrained option.

Sent you a PM. Was called yesterday to come in and sign off on the order as it's going into their allocation this week. Hopefully you were one of the 12 they had.
