Paint chip
Dear all,
Can anyone recommend a paint chip repair company in north-west NJ?
I did an internet search and only found a few, but don't know if they are any good.
I have had the misfortune of my first chip on my C7 and one on my Shelby.
In fact, I have a minor scratch on my black wheels. I am assuming it can be removed, if not too deep.
Also, did anyone protect their wheels with a film or wax?
Thank you for your time and input.

Several members have removed their wheels and coated them with a sealant. Sounds like a good idea. I've never done it before but it should help with the brake dust.
Lots of fans of Dr Colorchip touch up here. It won't make the chip disappear but seems easy. Just depends on how much time and effort your willing to put into the repair.

May not be perfect, but it will look better than the chip and for the price, worth the try. And if you drive the car a lot other chips will happen. Might want to consider waiting until you get more chips before taking it to a body shop. Of course if the body shop will do it for a very reasonable cost, then that is another story.

as far as curb rash, I some how got it on 2 of my wheels, the local guy wanted to take tire off and charge 100$ each wheel, I watched a youtube do it yourself clip and fixed both wheels, very easy, if you have blk wheels or silver wheels, as far as paint chips. my GM dealer was cheaper when I NEEDED my aero kit painted, you might want to check w them first..... .02$
