Will have to wait till 2016 model year hope they don't jump the price 10000 dollars by then. They made the zr1 untouchable after a few model years.

I'm with you on that one. Planning on ordering a 2016 for Spring delivery, and hoping the pricing holds tight. All I want for options is Aero Package and Black wheels, right now that would price out $82,490. Planning on at least 2K price increase, so would put it around $85,000. Please don't push this out of our price range

I'm thinking of a 2016 Z06 myself, but I really want to wait until Spring Mountain gets a few to drive. I think right now the MSRP is a huge bang for the buck based on the performance potential of the ZO6, I can't wait to see the first real world tests of one. My checkbook is ready....

Dont be too down about that. I'm thinking I could probably spring for a new one in a year or two - but, given how much I love my z51, my thoughts are -- I'll stick with the z51 for a really long time OR I'll only part with my z51 for a good deal on a year or two used z06 with everything I want.

Basically, the z51 makes me more than happy to stick with it, and that gives me a lot of leveraging power to stay with it unless I see the perfect opportunity to pick up a z06.

The Z06 has a great pricetag, but I don't have a need to rush out and pay MSRP for one.

I like the new Z06 as much as anyone but I also expect to love my '15 Z51 coupe just as much as those fortunate Z06 owners will love their cars.

Z06 is soo tempting. But my 15 Z51 is already ordered. If in the future I need more ponies...I'd could go the supercharger route.

Don't think anyone really needs a Z06, its just a reward you give yourself because you earned it. You want it, you can afford it, I would say get it.

I'm selling my '14 3LT Z51 late next year to buy a '16 3LZ. The only things I'm not sure about yet is whether or not I'll be going with an auto or manual, and what color I'll be going with. I don't think I want the Z07 package, but the Level 3 interior is simply a must.

I can afford. I just dont "need" it. The distinction between want and need is the point I was making. I love my C7. In my case a Z06 would not make me any happier. Having said that I can understand the passion of those who want a Z06 and I support that...
