Default Purchase Process

Seeking help on the buying process in steps

I opened an account with PenFed (1.49%)
Joined Farm Bureau
Next is to identify dealers who accept CU Supplier pricing ( I was impressed with the savings on the GM Build site)
ALL Local Dealers and Wilmington NC and Charleston SC are a no go! LOL

So who is the closest dealer who accepts supplier pricing to Myrtle Beach?

Criswell? Kerbecks?

GM site does not allow 2015 build

Which car are you looking for? If you are looking for a non z51 coupe or convertible, or a z51 convertible, Hendrick in Cary NC should accept supplier. Call and ask for Milos.

Thanks
Yeah Probably a 15 2LT Vert/Black top NAV Silver/Adrenaline w black wheels

Nothing fancy. I will look at their stock. Hendrick in Charleston is a no go ands well as Jeff Gordon in Wilmington (apparently a Hendricks dealer)

I am heading up to NJ next week maybe Criswell? Kerbecks?

You'll probably end up buying out of state to get a Supplier pricing on what you want, I recently went through the same process. I bought from Les Stanford, and they accepted Supplier on Z51s. Process is fairly simple, if you don't factor in the ridiculous nonsense I had to deal with at the DMV.

1) Put in your order, confirm options with your sales guy, put down a $1K deposit
2) Wait as your car goes through the build process
3) Once it's built, your sales guy will contact you to arrange payment
4) Sign the paperwork you're sent, mail the checks
5) Car gets shipped to you, driver calls you to arrange a delivery time
6) Meet delivery driver, sign the paperwork, and you're off!
7) Spend a few hours doing burnouts and launches in complete disregard of the break-in period
8) Pay any extra sales tax you owe at the DMV, (I had to pay luxury tax in NJ, check your state's laws), get registration
9) Get the car inspected, almost effortless in NJ for a new car

That's pretty much it.

The only top 10 dealer on record that I know of for supplier pricing is Les Stanford. It's where I ordered mine. The are doing a courtesy delivery for me to my local dealer. Now if they would just ship it please! Kerbeck and Criswell are a no go on 2015 orders.

Thanks. Very clear and I can eliminate a few steps

Go to DMV pay $300 sales tax and get reg No vehicle inspections here

May be less expensive and more fun to fly up and drive back

Also I don't see supplier pricing on 15s on the GM site. Is it available yet or are they waiting for the dealers to unload the 14s. I want the new A8. If I buy a 14 it would be the M7. Don.t want a discontinued Transmission already

I may wait for 15s to go with Kerbeck and /or Criswell. Seems Les has a L O N G line of cars to be built and delivered. But the time the last one is gone Kerbeck and Criswell may be on board with supplier pricing If I want a 14 MacCauklin and Maybe Hendrick close to me is the way to go.

I'll echo the sentiments on Les Stanford. Although I did a transport delivery directly to me, save yourself some money and do a Courtesy Delivery to a local dealer. They'll take care of local taxes and should walk you through the PDI process.
