Stingray/Siri integration
Not sure why I haven't seen much posted about this. Searched a bit and all I can find are old posts complaining that we don't have it. What that tells me is that owners don't know that they have it. Well, actually we do.
My vehicle is a 2014 Stingray built October of 2013 with factory calibrations, The only flash completed is PI1101B to adjust the IP illumination. OnStar disabled, OnStar phone minutes deactivated for reference.
As you can see in the videos, select the "Phone app" (the one with the microphone, not the handset) from the main infortainment screen. Press the large "Start" button to the right and listen for the Siri tone to play over the speakers. Now, use Siri like you are used to using from your iPhone. It will also find routing information with your built in Map app but the results are displayed on the phone screen, not the navigation screen.

I really appreciate the time you took to put together these videos. On the other Chevy cars, it looks like you can access the feature directly if you just press and hold the voice command button on the wheel. (I can't confirm this because my C7 is currently making its way down the manufacturing line now.)

You are correct. It is available via the voice activation button on the steering wheel on other platforms but in the Stingray, this conflicts with the built in voice integration so it uses a separate app.
Enjoy.

Thanks for the info. I look forward to trying this out...when my car arrives. I just wish the infotainment screen could cloned my iphone screen when my iphone is linked.

Thanks Talon, we have not received our 2015 yet but this is really good to know. Looking forward to learning all the technical advances in the new Vette. I appreciate you posting this for all of us.

Also have to ask if you haves changed media to the iPhone on USB.
Some versions of iOS6 broke the iPod out feature with MyLink. It was fixed by iOS7 through current.
