Default Delivery date of 2015 cars

What is the consensus of when the first 2015 will be delivered to dealers?
Mine is TPW 8/11 and hoping to get by Labor day...

Depending on where you are, that might happen but don't count on it. I think they're holding the first cars for awhile but not positive on that. We know the Museum isn't doing any 2015 deliveries until early Sept.

Totally depends on where it is being delivered to (which determines truck or rail transport). If you go by rail, it can take over a month from ship date to delivery date.

Hope they don't hold them!!

Lets see if GM pulls this "Nashville QC" BS that they pulled last year. Still makes me wonder what the heck they did down there.

That was never the case. It's been said for months that 2014 production would end today and that 2015s would start on Monday.

There was a video of one of the managers from the plant explaining what the Nashville QC hold was all about. Something to the effect of it was just an extra qc hold area because they didn't have enough space at BG to manage the large initial qc operation.

x10

That's what they were told to say. GM had Tents set up down there with people from Roush working on cars. There was no rhyme or reason of why a car was down there. Cars were held down there for a month after production. One car even came out missing door sills, QC? Right.

I say there was a issue they were fixing, give it 10 years when VINs 3-1000 start falling apart and GM has to issue a recall. LOL

This means they were on the line as early as Tuesday or Wednesday the 5th or 6th. Both the CF'ers said that their TPW never changed; showing a TPW of 8-11-14

You are correct.. Mine was Vin# 00010

I went to 3400 on Monday so the car started on the line in a form you could tell it was a car..lol sometime late Wednesday. My TPW stayed at 8/11 even when I check on it Thursday. I got the text on Friday saying it was to be #10 and would be done on Friday 8/8/14.
