Meet the President of the Audi Club of SoCal
Last weekend at was at California Car Covers (getting some cleaning supplies) and a couple asked if that was my Vette outside and I said yes, he asked if I was interested in tracking the car and I said I was curious about it and he went on to tell me how they have a Stingray on order (Laguna Blue w/red calipers) and after much discussion about my car he invited me to his clubs next meet at Buttonwillow.
I asked which club and he said he was the president of the Audi Club of So. Cal. and I said how did that work out for you, being the Pres. of the Audi club and you purchased a new Stingray, he said he had not told the club yet and wasn’t sure how the membership would take him buying a new Stingray.
Interesting I thought.

There are plenty of examples of brand bigotry though..This forum is a good example (unfortunately)
