Default C7 Carbon | GTX side skirt development - Community input much appreciated!

Hey guys,
First off we want to thank you for all the support from this awesome community you guys rock!
We are currently developing the C7 GTX side skirts to finish out the GTX line up, we would love to hear any comments or suggestions. We aim to make the very best products out there and what better than hearing your thoughts to help us steer in the right direction.
Are you looking for that special side skirt that is not available for your C7, well now is your chance to make it happen!
Let us know how we can help.

Please bare with us, the side skirts are in the early design phase so they will look a bit rough.

More pics to come!!

PS. No C7 Stingrays were harmed in the making.

As a past C6 customer and a current C7 customer of your front splitter, I have to tell you that I do not like the design. I do not like the straight look nor the indentation by the door that looks like a step. Sorry.

I concur. That's probably the least attractive one I've seen so far, with ACS's version being the best.

Just my opinion of course

straight edge = unappealing

Agreed, do not like the indent. Looks like an add-on while others I have seen look like they are molded into the body. Love your splitter so looking forward to something equally exciting to match for the rockers.

Agreed, something more similar to this / Z06 but not sticking out as far. I can just see my passenger getting out and using it as a step - crack!

I fully agree. I prefer the aggressive look on other ones that I have seen.

Of all the CF side skirts I still like the ones on the Gran tursimo concept car at SEMA last year. The splitter was nice too.

IMHO

I just ordered your front splitter with the group buy, and was excited to see what the skirts would look like, but I would definitely not buy these side skirts. I don't want to sound harsh, but these are terrible. Sorry. I'd scrap this design and start over if I were you. I agree with the statements above; the ACS skirts are the best looking ones thus far. Make something along the lines of the new Z06 in carbon, and I think you'd be in good shape.

Not a fan of the straight shelf either. And with that "step" impression, I could see someone doing just that as well.

I *am* a fan of the straight edge style - but it does seem to stick out a little too far (would be nice if it was flush front and back) and absolutely do not like the indentation/step looking thing around the door.

Ditto the above remarks about the "straight line" design...I much prefer having them more contoured to the body line (looking less like running boards). Also, don't forget to offer them in painted matching body colors...some of us think the C7 came from the factory with enough black accents.

I actually do like the straight edge. For me, the bent skirts look odd because the bend doesn't relate to any of the other shapes and lines on the car. The manufacturers offering both options is probably the way to go though.

I have to agree that there are so many angles on the C7 the straight side skirt is not a good design. I bit of fade on the back is needed.
