Garage Car Lift - QuickJack BL-5000
#421
I actually leave them on the floor, one under each car in my garage (2 car garage). You don't know they are there until you pull a car out I do remove the lifting blocks off of them though...
And when it is time to use them, I pull both cars out and put the one I want to work on into the middle (between the lifts), and push them under the sides!

I put mine in the center of the trailer and park over them. Once I get the garage built I will hang them on the wall. I have a big file cabinet that will hold the pump.

I saw a guy on another forum who ordered the 110V unit, and also a portable jump starter to use at the track: https://www.amazon.com/Schumacher-PS...V8J7PRFCME9KT0
I'm sure there are cheaper ones out there, but definitely cheaper than another full pump unit.

Can not wait should be a huge help installing my A&A supperchar and ported stock exhaust manifolds!
Hopefully it won't come over the 4th as I'll be traveling and I don't want my house sitter to have to deal with it.

I think it takes 2 qts.
Good luck on the supercharger! I have a supercharged and cammed G8, and I keep telling myself I am keeping the C7 stock! Hey, I've made it 6 months so far.

Somewhat productive "sick day". Got my 7000SLX delivered, but it was only the 2 lifts, no pump or lift adapters. Assume they will be here n the next day or so. I box had some damage to it, and one of the wheels was missing. Assume it broke and fell out. Luckily they ship 2 replacement wheels with the parts kit.
So I used the yellow tape, 2 wraps. I tightened the fittings and have about 1/4 inch of threads remaining on each fitting. Is this typical for you others who used the yellow tape? I never tried 3 wraps of white, like the manual states, so I am not sure if there is a difference. Just curious.
