It has been a week since I got on the list with Les Stanford for a 2015 3LT Z51 convertible in Daytona Sunrise Orange Metallic. I am still up in the air about interior either brownstone or black with a black top. I am very happy with my blind choice.

This is a great looking color
Daytona Sunset Orange leaned toward red while Atomic Orange leaned toward gold. This color looks great, leaning toward red more than gold.
I hope this illustration is an accurate representation of Daytona Sunrise Orange and that it's not just a custom job.

I usually would never question Rick's sources but I don't think this is it. I just had a conversation with someone who knows yesterday and I was told no DSOM cars have been been painted yet.
Since they ran Lime Rock to the end, they can't start building validation cars till after the 2014 production is over.
I was told that the name came from the fact that the car is very close to the original DSOM but with more metallic in it.

Shame on you Rick. 2 seconds worth of Google searching and you'll find that this picture was posted somewhere else at least as far back as April of this year.
It's not ok to steal images and put your information on them in order to profit. Just because something is viewable on the internet doesn't mean you can co-opt it without getting permission from the copyright holder before using it for profit.
On top of all that, it's really just another photoshopped red:

Actually, I think it's Crystal Red Metallic.

“First my apologies gang..as we said at the beginning of the post, We assumed this was the color, I know not good enough…my fault for posting as I fell victim to someone that thought this was funny.
There has been a lot of disrespect and lying behind the scenes and that I do not get, this is the most exciting time for Corvette, shoot since Corvette began in my opinion!
After the week I had with my 11 year in the hospital with a seizure, I was will simply trying to get back in the groove and find some goodness. When I got this email from a person “I thought I trusted,” whom is now on the AHOLE LIST; I know better to have waited to get official word from GM.
Thank-you for understanding and lets get back to delivering more Stingray Dreams. Thank-you for the business opportunities,
- Rick Conti”

Certainly a good wake up call to check facts first.
Thanks Dave from Kerbeck for pointing out the truth.
