C7 Engine Bay Wash
Is it okay to apply low pressure soap and rinse at a wand wash to the area under the hood?

No reason for it, just spray it with a light degreaser like diluted citrus degreaser from lowes and wipe it clean. Follow with duragloss rinseless for a bit of gloss.
