Anyone painted their C7 calipers?
I have a Laguna Blue on order, and wanted Laguna Blue paint-matched calipers. As you know, that's not an option. I'm curious if anyone has painted their own calipers, and if so, pics?

You can get a kit from G2 (google "G2 caliper paint) that is color-matched to your car - this is what I used on my car in the photos. It is a two-stage paint that you mix and brush on without removing the calipers. The cured paint is very hard and glossy, but you will see some faint brush strokes if you look very close. To my knowledge, no one sells a spray on kit that is color-matched. If you are a perfectionist, I think you can remove the calipers and have them powder coated to match your color.

The calipers are painted at the factory, Z51 = black, Base = gunmetal Both options are really painted nice from the factory, personally I like the gunmetal look.

I tried several different kinds of paint on my C5 calipers. Most looked really good at first. However one easy track day or autocross on a hot day and the paint was toast.Red turned to dull gray quickly. I've never seen that problem with the factory painted calipers.
I left my C6 calipers un-painted.

We have done quite a few local vettes here in az. We professionally paint them and can put logos back on the caliper if you want. Shoot me an email or pm and we can get you a quote to do them. Joe@cordesperformanceracing.com

I intend to paint my black calipers Crystal Red to match my body. What I don't understand is: Is high temp paint needed? Will factory body paint work even tho the dealer said it's not high temp? Do they have to be powercoated? I don't care about the Corvette lettering on the calipers so why not remove them from the rotors, tape everthing up and spray them so as to not worry about brake fluid and having to bleed all four and what not? Or remove them and send them off? Can anyone help?
