Default Rims and Tires
I am trying to purchase a Z51 tire package for my none Z51 .Question will they bolt right up .
I am sure somebody out did this or tried it . Hate to spend the bucks if they do not work

Yes z51 wheels fit the base car, many tires avail.

Isn't there an issue with different diameters between the 2? Such as the speedo and computers not liking it?

No, the diameters remain essentially the same....

They bolt right on, tire diameter is very close to the same. The wheels just look better and the tires give more grip.

To be honest though, if you are going to buy wheels, go aftermarket and differentiate your car - plus go for wider wheels/tires. As soon as I go through these tires, that is my plan.
