Basically, my car was supposed to arrive on Tuesday and pickup on Wednesday morning then run to get the Xpel put on. Did not quite work out that way. Called the dealer on Wednesday morning and they still didn't get shipment however they said it will be that day. Wife and three kids (6,4, and 1) decided to go up and wait for it as we were so excited, mostly me though. When we got there after about 3 hrs the dealer had just talked to the driver and his new truck got a flat and then to top it off the hydraulics weren't working to drop off one of the cars before going to my dealer. Long story short is he wouldn't be there until Thursday morning. A little bummed, but I was still getting it soon.

So, the family and I decided to stay overnight at the Radisson. We didn't pack so we went shopping for clothes and necessities. When we got to the hotel the kids were so excited as they have never been to a hotel. We got room service, indoor pool, and watched some movies. It was a great experience that we will always remember and we just winged it.

Now, onto the car. I have never driven or even been in a vette for that matter. All I have to say is WOW. It has exceeded my expectations above and beyond. What a great car Chevy put together.

Love everything about the car and looks even better in person than the pictures I bought it from. I have to say if any of you are contemplating getting the suede insert, just get it. It gives that little contrast that looks really good in person and feels very comfortable. Secondly, if you want a great sound you should definitely get the dual mode exhaust. It sounds so good and makes people turn their heads when you are coming up on them.

Here are few pics and I will try to post more soon. Got back late last night and didn't get to take many.

Oh yeah, I have gotten "is that a Ferrari"? about 20 times and "did that cost about $100k"? Feel like a celebrity in my area as there are really no c7's around.

Congrats...Amazing how waiting for these cars make us feel like kids waiting for Christmas to come.
