Wow, this is moving quick...
Order for 2015 placed Tuesday Les Stanford. Moves to 3000 by Thursday.
Today got info that TPW is 8/25
So when would you expect to receive delivery (courtesy delivery if that makes a difference)?
VY, black interior, vert, Z51, mag ride, black wheels, yellow calipers, stinger stripe.

2020 C8 of the Year Finalist - Unmodified
I think this makes perfect sense. They've made over 30K of them in a year. It's not like a year ago when no one had one and everyone wanted one at the same time. There's a lot of cars on Ebay and cars.com now, New and Used.
Production has to slow. They can't expect to make 30K+ of these forever. Seeing people getting their orders filled in a few weeks instead of months only verifies it.
Production demand is dropping.

Chevy extended the C7 2014 model year into the 2015 model year in order to turn out the approx. 35,000 to meet demand. As a consequence, the 2015 model year will be shorter than normal, so 30,000 will be expected and likely made.
Normal is about six weeks from order accepted (2000) when regular production is underway to order delivered to dealer (5000) and to me it looks like normal is about to be the rule.

2015
I have had a 2015 ordered since mid June.Still sits at 1100 today. So,not everyone is so lucky to move from 1100 to 3000 in 2 days. Then a TPW the next day. Enjoy.

Are you sure your Dealer really has the Allocation? A friend of mine ordered in late June and he already has a Production Date. He ordered from a Forum Dealer.

It always happens fast when your dealer really has an allocation. My car was built one month after I placed the order. The courtesy delivery may slow you down on getting it though, if that dealer doesn't regularly receive C7's.
