Default Cost to have a Stinger installed?

For those of you who picked up a Stinger hood stripe after delivery, about how much did you pay to have it installed?

I've got a Stinger on order and am pretty sure of which shop I want to do the install, but just wanted to get an idea of what everyone else has paid to have it done. I don't expect to get hosed by the shop since they did a superb job on window tint install for a great price, but it's nice to go into the deal informed.

Thanks!

Sounds right...it's a 30-45 minute job at the most.....

I installed my custom-made "Supercharged" fender stripes on my '01 myself (after I cut them on the vinyl cutter at work). Something like this I'd rather have a more experienced set of hands work on.

Pretty easy to install yourself - the area is fairly flat and there are no complex curves to deal with. Took me about 45 minutes at home in the garage -- very easy IMO.

I've done a number of vinyl decal installs before, many ones I designed and cut myself, but they've all been dry installs and relatively small. For something like this the wet install method makes more sense (at least for someone of my skill level), and I'd rather leave it up to someone with experience... especially in regards to something like the Stingray. We've got other vehicles I can practice on that I'll be less concerned about mucking around with.

Something isn't adding up for me. You're willing to pay $50 for a 45 minute job to someone else rather than do it yourself? I'm not sure what kind of quality you are getting for $11 per hour where you live....but around these parts if your hiring out work on your corvette for $11 per hour you'd be MUCH safer doing it yourself!

In Alberta, $50 is like minimum wage. I work up here

Considered that, actually. For something like this I'm more fond of vinyl, easier to remove if I wanted to change or replace it down the road.

I actually paid $90.00, but the guy drove to my home and did the install in my garage in about an 90 minutes under very difficult circumstances (temp over 100 degrees).

I'm no math whiz but for 45 minutes @ $50 I come up with around $67/hour.

Can anyone give me an idea what it would be to install the full stripes like the factory ones. Quite a bit more work than the stinger.
Thanks

If you got a spray water bottle and squeegee its pretty easy to do it yourself. Not hard at all.

$50 sounds reasonable especially if you're not comfortable doing it yourself. No use messing things up.
