Default Door Handles

Not sure why they left the door handles/covers off the Stingray, but I'm curious if any of the aftermarket vendors are working on replacements? Cheap parts, but should be able to sell a ton of them I would think.

I know some are doing Expel, but to me that seems just a bit tacky and the C6 part seems like it belongs, and I'd like to have something similar to keep all the fingerprints to a minimum.

I think that is a great idea, I never noticed the difference when looking at the 7's, it shouldn't take much just a smaller version of the c6's.

Probably installed with 3M two sided tape, I would like to see it wrap around like the c6 does.

There are two things on the C7 that I would change if it were possible. First on the list is the door handles, they are small openings, I pinched my finger in the dealer's show room looking at a display model. Second, is the surround around the exhaust pipes (collect dirt and somewhat hard to clean), leave pipes out in the open like the C6.

I would get one in carbon fiber or carbon flash

Flat of hand on edge of door. NO door handles needed nor wanted. The car is smooth and sleek as is - why ruin that?

Well, your're set then. As for me, I'd prefer to have one. Tired of seeing finger and palm prints, and having to be so cautious when I shut the door.

Agreed, I much prefer the C7's lack of door handle vs. the C6's black plastic.

So cautious of what? If finger prints bother you that much you probably should leave it in the garage with a cover on it.

If my C7 had fugly black plastic pieces like the C6 I'd be figuring out a way to get rid of them.

Seriously? Who cares. Leave him alone. You don't care for the handles, while he thinks they're necessary. Is your aggression on the subject needed do you think? Because it seems rather childish and provocative to me

Personally, I'd like to see the handles as well. Maybe even body color so they aren't as noticeable. The carbon flash idea isn't terrible either. I'm sick of the damn finger prints. Even when the car is spotless, there's finger/palm prints every time you close the door

The Bowling Green Team installed pulls specifically for closing the doors

I removed them for a while on my C6 for a cleaner look but there was a notched out area that didn't look so great either. Finally ordered the body colored ones, at least they weren't as unsightly as the original black ones .

No bumps required. Grab the thing, don't stress over a couple of prints. The heel of the palm does work well too.

The door handle covers looked like an afterthought on the C6. I like the clean look of the C7 much more.

Not " unsightly" on the Black 'Vette. Still glad thy're not on the C7; I close doors with a finger in the lowest and most rearward portion of the door glass.
