Default What's the most G's you've pulled

On regular roads not at the track. I was driving on a road between Ouray,CO and Durango, CO called the Million Dollar Highway. It has hairpin curves with 800 foot drops 2 feet from from the edge of the road. It was in the middle of the night with no traffic so I got a little liberal with the throttle. Pulled .8 g's on some of the turns. I have never been able to get this car to break loose.

Oh BTW I saw a yellow C7 in Durango and a black C7 in Montrose, CO. These are the first ones I've seen on the road.

I've driven that road MANY times. It's fun with no traffic, but you gotta be careful because one mistake in the wrong place is fatal.

I had my C6 well above 1G, but haven't pushed the C7 yet.

Where do you live?

Not sure since they removed the recall feature in the C7 and I'm usually too busy to look at the time.

In my C6 GrandSport I frequently recorded 1.1x and hit a 1.22g one time that I looked.

Really hate that they regressed with the recall feature, it was nice.

1.03G's. The front tires started a slight chatter at that point, but I stayed in it. Never felt uncomfortable (except my left knee was jammed into the door).

1.12 or 1.15. I wasn't staring at it enough to differentiate :-)

I live in Delta just north of Montrose. I've also driven that road many times and the first time was in my wife's dodge neon. I was doing about 7 mph shaking the whole time. Now I just blaze through there.

Shouldn't you be looking where your going instead of looking at the hud

Canada Corner at Road America about to eat Godzilla. I was too busy driving may *** off to be looking or worried about G's.

Not sure how folks pull those numbers on public roads.

I have a favorite on ramp that I keep going faster. so far I have done .9G and that was breathtaking. Hard to imagine any more.

1.1 on favorite banked exit ramp, loads of fun watching cars try to stick that corner trying to keep up.

We're in 'Junction. We should plan a Saturday or Sunday drive to Silverton or Durango.

Somewhere around 5 G's. Not in the Stingray, but in a T-38:

NICE! I've ridden in an Extra 300S a couple of times with an aerobatics instructor. Wildest ride I can imagine.

This is me in the Blue Angels F/A-18 Hornet pulling 7.5 G's. This is the first maneuver we did as we lifted off the ground. The 2 engines in the F/A-18 Hornet provide more thrust than the actual weight of the aircraft. So we were accelerating as we flew straight vertical and pulled 7/5 G's.
