Never understand why anyone gets "nervous'''....sh** breaks - read here for a while and you'll see these cars en mass are not falling apart..but such is forum life....
6200 miles, and still perfect...and if/when something happens, I'll get it fixed under warranty...

Owned quite a few new automobiles throughout my life and have not had any problems with any of them that were 10K miles or less. Guess I have been lucky but I to would be disappointed if I started seeing issues after 3K miles...

Disappointing but not a huge deal for me. I'm betting on a loose fitting in the oil cooler line. It's dripping straight down onto the cradle and since it's under warranty, I'm not jacking it up and crawling underneath for my own edification.

Agree that "Shitte" breaks, but for most of us, we are slightly out of our comfort zone with the dollar amount spent for this automobile.
Fairly sure we'd all like to get at least 36K miles of trouble free driving before having to run to the dealer for leaks, or other breakages.
At $15-$25K spent for a car, for whatever reason, makes these things a little easier to accept and less troubling (still an irritant and not acceptable by any means), but @ 3 times that dollar amount, it certainly is less so IMO.
Not being argumentative just adding a bit of perspective.

Its a shame it appears this car was pushed into production a little before its time.

If you have a Z51, the pressure fittings on the two large oil lines can leak from a bad seal - looks just like this.
Lots of little stuff like that (seals), so while annoying, it's (probably) all good after a day in the shop.

Soon people will be using it on 'my carpet is wrinkly' threads.
And first-year Boeing 747s had more horsepower... (kidding, of course, though it would be funny to find out they made more thrust or something coincidental to that statement)
