It's their job and they get paid to do it.

Information isn't always right, but hey, it's good to have something.

When my 2014 was on order, they told me it was still in BG, and my dealer called the same day to tell me it arrived.

How long have you been working for them ?

I see them as little more than shills for GM. When a topic gets really ugly they scatter and are nowhere to be found.

For the insignificant percentage of those that complain about the service, they do the best they can. They are swamped with request, not only from this forum but others too. Look at the numbers, over 9,000 request for updates. You can please some of the people some of the time, but you can't please all the people all of the time.

I see it's over 10,000 request so far.

They get a gold star in my book... I realize it is there job, but how many people do you know that do their job at the same level of detail and attention they provide to this forum.

Their responses to status requests seem to be sporadic. I've asked for status twice recently and no one has responded. If they're paid to provide this service, then I'm a unhappy customer. If they're not paid and provide the service just because they like providing info to paying customers, then I have to temper my criticism. I'd like to hear their side of the story. Are our expectations too high? What say you GM Customer Service???

While we realize that the demand for order statuses updates is important for many members, we are here to proactively help customers experiencing vehicle issues. We do our absolute best to ensure the tracking thread is up to date, but view customers who need assistance with dealers and any service-related concerns that they may have as a first priority.
