Call MacMulkin and have them courtesy deliver to you.
IF you want a left over '14 they will ship right to your door (and save thousands).
Forget the CA dealers.
Bought my '14 from them and just ordered a '15.

The dealer in Lompoc is more central coast, but two hours north of 1000 Oaks. I was there last weekend and although they had just sold their 2 stock units, they had more coming in and for sale not a penny over MSRP. I was surprised as its a smaller town and everything around this half of the state is marked way the f up.
Good luck!

I'm in MV also and couldn't find a dealer locally. Ended up ordering with Mike Furman and getting a courtesy delivery to San Diego (best trip on the 5 I've ever taken, picking that car up )
Good luck to you and hope to see your ride around here soon!

I talked to the sales manager at Win in Carson and got him down to MSRP back in November(ish). They have a huge markup on all stickers, but really thats only there for the people with tons of cash who don't know any better, so don't let that dissuade you.
Anyway, I got a better deal with MacMulkin so I went there. Almost did the courtesy delivery at Win (for $500) but ended up picking it up in NH because I wanted to do the x-country drive.

Theo at Rydell in Northridge is very easy to talk too. I have purchased 2 cars from him and he is not a typical sales guy. I think he is the Corvette specialist also. If not, call Tim Boone at boardwalk chevy. First class guy too.

For those of you like myself that live in California and have purchased a C7 out of state where there any issues registering the vehicle in California. I was reading the DMV web site and they stated that a vehicle that is brought from out of state must have 7,500 miles before it can be registered. It is interesting that if you are out of state and your vehicle is stolen or destroyed you can purchase a new vehicle and you are exempt. I am assuming this will only apply if the C7 is sitting on dealers lot. I would think if you order the C7 and get California emissions installed at the factory and then have it shipped to a local dealer then there should be no problem. I will more then likely being ordering out of state due to the prices the local dealers are charging. For those of you in our great state that have purchased your C7 out of state where there any issues registering the C7?

If you do buy from a California dealer, expect to pay MSRP. In my case, I was willing to pay MSRP instead of buy from out of state.
Good luck!

I found only 2 Dealers near me in SoCal about two weeks ago that would do supplier on a order, I ordered a 15 with a $1000.00 deposit from the dealer that I bought my 2008 from. He said I am #5 and he get 20-25 a year. He sent me the GM OrderWORKBENCH with the order number. I have been told by the dealer that I'm looking at Oct-Nov as he get 2-3 per mo. I got my supplier number from GM that is good for 6 mo. I sold my 2009 Z51 last week so now I just have to sit and wait.

I went to Rydell first and they would not give me GMS pricing and also wanted $1000 courtesy delivery price. Ordered my car at GMS price from MacMulkin in NH and had it delivered to chevrolet in Montebello for $500. I do use Rydell for service as they have the best Corvette tech around.

They don't haggle price at all. They never mark up and they don't lower their price under MSRP. It's actually the reason I go to them. Their salesman don't really work on commission based on the price of the car. They make a fixed rate per car they sell regardless of how much it costs. (Including on used cars.) I like that because I know they're not going to try to pressure me into buying something I don't want.
Outside of that, when all other dealerships in the area were marking the C7 up before the first one was even delivered, Rydell sold to me at MSRP and I didn't have to deal with any BS.
