IIRC, my Avalanche has three sensors on each side of the license plate, and they are ugly round bumps. 6 sensors, in addition to being an eyesore, add weight.
Is it really that hard to look at the camera screen? Any further than a foot or two from the rear end, the camera field of view reaches past the sides of the car.

The rear camera works great. Heck, using the lines in it, I have never even got close to hitting anything.
I am glad those ugly sensors are not all over the front and back of the car.

Honestly, I like sonar better.
I just got a new Mini and it has amazing back up sensors. The TFT screen actually shows you areas that are closer than others. You actually can "see" better with the sonar than the camera at the left and right edges of the car.
Its so easy to back this car up with confidence that you're not going to hit anything. I can't say that with the Vette.

If your car has the memory package, you can have your mirrors tilt in and down when in reverse. You can even choose one or both mirrors to move. This is really helpful, if you have them set properly.

It was an option on our 2012 and 2013 Volt as part of a SAFETY Package. Why it's not an option on GM's HALO vehicle is odd?
