When I see a car that is "murdered out', it's usually an older four door sedan driven by a young kid, or a Rat Rod driven by a breaded old man.

Obviously you missed the new C7 Z06 being tested by GM prior to release....interesting they went with Black wheels and the "murdered out" look!

And yes it looks awesome!

Don't be offended. Black is associated to the military by wannabes. Black is not identified so much with the military as it is with paramilitary groups.

Cheers.

Yes it does! And that, plus blacked-out windows, is how mine will look. There is no other way.

Loved the car but it was a chore to keep clean so I decided I wouldn't buy another black vehicle..we have silver, beige, white, red and VY ..all easier colors to keep clean IMO. That being said, a clean black vehicle looks fantastic..

I like black vehicles as long as someone else maintains it. But all black "murdered out" is too much of a good thing.

We should have a sticky titled "What Grinds my Gears" where people can make posts about what they dislike. People who start threads to complain about things such as 'color choices' really grinds my gears.

Some find the sinister look appealing. My last car, a C6, was black. I decided not to do that again, but I do like it.

1-10uglad?

I actually like black and would have gone black on black on back on black with tint, but seriously, dem swirls and dat dust. Color is just too high maintenance to stay looking awesome.

IMHO. .. Black is hard to take care of. Pain in the *** to clean, but at night no matter how dirty the car is, black is by far imho the best looking color for any car....All of my vettes have always been murder out, but I like my sedans in silver...
