Default Do key fob’s still work with seat memory?

Hi, I’m looking at the key fob’s and where the ones for my C6 had numbers on them and would set the driver’s seat based on the key fob, the new ones don’t have any numbers. Anyone know if the key fob’s still related to the seat selection number? If so how do you program the key fob?

Thanks Jim

They do have numbers...At least mine do. Pull the key and look for a small stamping inside the FOB. Dunno if they work that way as I don't use that feature.....(a large source of complaining here!)

Mine don't have any numbers but they are tied to specific memory locations, you just need to do a little investigative work.

Set up your vehicle setting to recall seat memory on unlock/open.
Make sure Memory 1 and Memory 2 are uniquely different enough so you'll know which is which.
Put the seat in Exit position (different than Mem 1 or Mem 2)
Press the unlock button on one of the Fobs and the seat will move to the memory position it's tied to.
Mark this fob with that number.
Obviously the other fob is the other memory location.

OK, yep got it. Mine don't have any numbers inside or out. Wonder why they removed the numbers? Cound not have cost anything!
