This was already talked about two nights ago in another thread. The seller was informed that these z06 grilles are worth more than the $300 'buy it now' that he was previously offering so now he is listing them as an actual auction. I'm assuming future grilles that he gets will be priced accordingly; to the 3 guys on here that got em for $300, way to go!!!

Currently at $600? WTF? Those who got them for $300 need to flip them on eBay and wait for them to be available over the counter for $200!

Real question is where is he getting these from?

What dummy would've informed him that they were worth more?

I'd like to know that as well. I've spoken to some forum members privately that have emailed the seller, as have I, and that's what was said. Which is the reason for the switch from buy-it-now to an auction listing.

Probably some of the same people that ranted and raved over the C7 and repeatedly said it was underpriced. Next thing you know, here comes the price increase. Lol.

I offered the guy $350 for the next one a few days ago, and somebody else had e-mailed him to say that they were worth $1000 a pop.

Honestly, I don't doubt they will start going for that - already @ $600.

I don't really care since I (thankfully) have one on the way, but these won't hit the parts counter for almost a year, so it's up to how badly you want one.

so what?
I have a C7 non-Z06..not going to masquerade it as something it's not...
Carbon fiber insert over the fugly chrome retainer is sufficient...

So you're saying the grille is the only differentiating part between a base C7 and Z06? The grille simply looks better, it fits, and the price WAS decent.

These are the posts that keep me from posting much in General.

When we have 800-900bhp C7s, we're kind of representing something we're not anymore by that logic.

This happens every generation... Same old, same old. I like the grille, looks nice. Lots of room for DIY brake ducting, etc. for those of us who track, etc. If you think a simple grille is where modding stops, prepare yourself mentally for complete clones.

I forget that a lot of people are just stock and don't think the way us crazies do.

To each, their own.

Its cool and all but for those prices I'd much rather have these....

http://weaponx-c7.myshopify.com/coll...-1-piece-grill

Or is the Z06 grille just cooler because its a piece of a Z06?

Just depends on who you ask, and the individual motivation.

I just wanted one to complete the look I'm making with the WeaponX body kit, etc.
