May 2014 Corvette deliveries.
GM delivered 3,328 Corvettes in May 2014. That was 268% more than the 905 units delivered in May 2013.
This follows 3,514 in April; 3,480 in March; 2,438 in February and 2,261 in January.

So, let me get this straight, there were no Corvettes in production since February of 2013? If true, those bastards at GM have a stockpile of C7's hidden somewhere that are slowly being released to dealers. It's sheer genius. Any idea where they might be hidden? I'm gonna go with Shangri-La, cuz I think despite popular belief the ***** did find it in the late '30's.

Yet GM keeps doing it. Guess they figure no one cares about the details.
A better gauge is to compare the C7 to the early C6 sales. For example, in May 2006 GM sold 3,317 C6's. And the early C6's were a big sales success.
The C7 is now on almost the exact same pace . . . making the C7 a definite sales success so far as well. Good news for sure.

Yup, its incredibly misleading and almost pointless to compare C7 sales to last year when the C6 had ended but the C7 was not released yet.
