The 500 mi redline change recorded w/Google Glass
A friend lent me his Google Glass for my museum delivery and return trip. I haven't used it much yet, but made good use of it for recording the 500 mile 'break in' redline change as it happened. This was about halfways through Louisiana on my non-stop 900+ mile drive up to St. Paul, MN.

It's neat, but as a tech-savvy guy it's nowhere near "gotta have it" yet. If you've got the ~$1500 to blow and want a tech toy, it's worth considering, but the current design is a lot more fragile than it lets on. My friend who lent it to me spent more time warning me about potential break points than he needed to spend explaining navigation.
Also, frustratingly, Google's latest update to it appears to have removed the DCIM support, so to get at the vids and photos I've taken so far I had to jump around through Google Photos and such, instead of just hooking it up to my computer via usb.
At this point in my trip, I'm on the return drive home to California (just stopped for the day halfways to Denver, CO) from the family visit up in Minnesota, and the 500 mile recording was the second (and currently last) vid I shot with the Glass. I will probably use it some more around Denver, Vegas, and the surrounding areas.
