Default Kerbeck saved the day....

After placing an order with my local dealer waiting two months with promise of a allocation....I got on the net and found this forum, I learned a lot from you guys. I made a call to Amoni at Kerbeck April 13 and ordered my car.....Forty nine days later I received my car, even less
time than they told me. When does that happen! It was simple and they
returned every E mail with in ten minutes , Every thing they said would
happen did....great experience. Thanks to the forum and Kerbeck I am ready to roll.

(I know that i've said this before but...)

I've been really pleased with Dave and Deb at Kerbeck! I'm just waiting for production now, but do recommend them to anyone who is looking. I'll buy from them again for sure if I ever get the chance to buy another one of these cars in the future! Touch base with them if anyone is interested in one of these cars, they'll treat you right.

Guess that’s what happens with an involved dealership that also has more than twice the allocations of any other dealer. Don

Why guys fool around with many of these small vette volume local guys when trying to order a stingray, is beyond me. Just go to one of our well known top forum dealer's with big allocations and great prices, and be done with it. If one is new to the vette scene, there is Macmaulkin, Kerbeck, Coughlin, Criswell, Boardwalk, Reliable, Les Standford, to name a few. My favorite is MacMaulkin, but the others are well liked by many who have bought their new vettes on here.

While in theory you should get the same service from a dealer regardless of where you purchase a car in practice that is almost never the case. If as a example your car has a issue and is not drivable and a customer comes in after you with a service issue who purchased there his car is getting fixed first. Some dealers have been known to go as far as rating customers on how much they paid ect.. To determine service priorities.

That was the old way but most of those dealers are no longer dealers.

Service departments now have CSI surveys just like sales and failing to hit your CSI goal can cost the dealer tens of thousands of dollars.

In the old days, dealers made money selling cars and only had shops because the manufacturer made them do it. Now, in the world of low mark ups and internet shopping, the only way for a dealer to survive is making a profit in the shop. No more will the sales manager tell a service manager not to help someone because they didn't buy the car from them.

In my case, the reason is simple and I suspect I’m not the only one. I wanted to buy locally because the dealer has greater incentive to please a customer of that facility than someone who bought elsewhere. D9h

All of my little proteges are doing great. I gave a few of my old customers to Amoni (or are all on the forum) so his name has been getting around buy our whole crew is excellent!

That's almost as good as the time they used the guy from Ancient Aliens to describe how I got all of my allocation!

He did a fine job for me, and I'm sure he's come along way since those early deliveries as well.
