Good job Mike, but I have to admit, miss the days of the ratchet wrench on the C4 when you had to bold the top down, and no matter what you did it rattled. Love the old days.... After seeing you take off the top on the coupe, I must say, owning the Convertible makes live easy. Great explanation of the entire process. Have to love the Convertible push a button and let the car do the work...sort of like "Set it and Forget it" technology....

I have a feeling the trunk divider is not clicked in place. Call me desk direct 3012124420 if you are still having issues. Please let me know how you do.

Yes, close the doors and trunk and make sure the trunk divider is clicked in place....and press lock twice...then press unlock twice...then hold the top down button and it should work. Remember to hold the down button until you hear the beep.

Advanced
Success! I've had my Convt for almost a month and finally got the top to lower using the FOB. I had some success starting the car using the remote but that was totally hit and miss too and mostly did not work. I decided to use the spare FOB as I figured the remote I was using was used to show off the features to prospective customers at Lindsay Chevrolet. Using the spare worked perfectly and effortlessly every time so either the battery is low on the remote used in the showroom or individuals were pressing the buttons so hard they might have done some internal damage to the electronic sensors. In any case it's working and I can finally show it off to my daily golfing friends who are excited beyond comprehension (LOL) to watch me start the car remotely after a grueling game of golf and lower the top so that the car can air out a little before the trip home. I think this feature works great for golfers as the car is sitting in the hot sun for 18 holes and it's perfect for letting it air out while I remove my golf bag from the cart, clean the shoes, etc. Thanks Mike for the video!!
Best regards,
Jim
