Winter (bah humbug)
I live outside Chicago, and my C7 will be a daily driver. I have had 2 C6's and a 2012 Camaro SS. They were each my daily driver. I bought a spare set of wheels and dedicated winter tires and went through the winters with no problems.
My C7 should be in this week. It was made 5/14/14. It is a Z51, so it has the 19/20 inch wheels. There are no dedicated winter tires in these sizes. There are two very good winter tires (Pirelli and Michelin) in the standard wheel sizes (18/19).
Question: can I mount the 18/19 inch wheels on the Z51 without interference? Performance is not an issue, I just need to know if they will physically fit.
Thanks.

Issue with the 18/19 combo on a Z51 is clearing the calipers. I think there may be some rims that barely clear but you are really limited on that from what I have read. That said, there are many who are running AS tires on their 19/20 Z51 rims. I'm sure you will get some feedback on those. A search in the C7 forum for All Season Tires should give you plenty of information as this has been a hot topic in recent months.

Drifting
I agree I may be using this as a DD during winter n NJ. I want to run a 18/19 setup for winter on my z51. I assume by fall alot of people will have experimented with diff size / offset rims

my first choice would be dedicated winter tires. they perform much better in the winter than all-season tires, as they do not have to compromise winter traction for summer use.
the Michelin website shows the Alpins available in Z51 sizes, but Tire Rack's website doesn't. Has anyone gotten them yet? If you have, please share the information.
Thanks
