Default Dealer Recomendation in Cincinnati Area

I bought my Stingray from Rick at Coughlin, but I really don't want to drive 2 hours each way for service. Can anyone recommend a good dealer for service in the Cincinnati area? I'm particularly interested in Hirlinger Chevrolet since they're 4 miles from the house.

Thanks in advance.

Talked to Danny already. He was definitely my first choice. The way McCluskey is set-up with the split dealerships, he isn't able to do my warranty work yet.

Hopefully this will change, but in the interim I need a dealer I can trust to do a good job.

What do you mean by split dealerships?

I'm also in Cincinnati and am interested in this question. I'm almost at 1500 miles on my '15 and looking to get my first oil change soon.

Split dealerships might have been misleading.

McCluskey moved the main dealership to the King's Auto Mall. Danny's shop is still at the old location on Reading Road. Evidently there are some accounting issues to work out between the two locations. When I talked to him, he wasn't sure when that would happen, but I got the impression it would happen sooner or later.

I think the problem is with getting reimbursed for warranty work.

Tom at Bud's was great to deal with. Highly recommended!

Another cincinnatian here. New owner with less than 500 miles on my '15 Z51. I'm coming up to first oil change and have the same question. I bought at the dealership in Lebanon and live in West Chester area. Lebanon seems like a nice dealership but very low Corvette volume. Because of prior experience I'd shy away from the dealer in Tri County. If McCluskey has an experienced tech that could be my answer.

Go to the next meeting of your local Corvette club and ask around. I've never ran into a club yet that was not either sponsored by a dealership or had some realationship with a dealer.

And if not members in the club know who to work with.

Greg. That's a great idea. Had not thought of that. Thanks

Dumb question: How do I find out about the club(s) in my area?

No such thing as a dumb ? my friend!!! I googled and found this...

http://cincinnati-corvettes.org/

Looks like they are sponsored by Joseph Chevrolet whoever they are.

I'll tell you this the second best thing you can do other then buy a Corvette is join a club. Some a little or a lot of politics that you can ignore, or I can........ but man talk about good people and like minded friends!!!!

I can't tell you how many friends we've made how many things we've done that we never would have w/o the club AND the number of non car benefits I've got. As an example my electric blew out on a Sunday evening a few years back. Called a club member who was an electrician problem solved.

Its a great way to get more out of your car and life in general!!!!
