C7's at Indy
I attended the Grand Prix of Indy Saturday and along with the C7 pace car saw about 40 C7's get to do a slow 2 laps around the track between races! Does anybody know if that was a local club or arranged by the speedway? I would love to be able to drive my car around that track one day!

In this case, I believe that the C7 parade lap was arranged by Chevrolet, or at the very least, the local Chevrolet dealers. The club to which I belong (Corvette Indy) is sponsored by Penske Chevrolet, and they told us that they had a number of slots available for C7's to participate in that parade lap on Saturday.
It's not uncommon for local car clubs (Corvette or metal cars) to participate in such parade laps at the track.

I was there, rode with my friend in his C7. It was put on by Chevrolet and three dealers were allowed to invite new C7 owners. Afterwards we had lunch and watched the race in the Gasoline Alley suite. Had a blast. Indy 500 parade laps is next, but we don't get to stay for the race.
