Will I love the C7?
I don't know why I didn't turn to the forum sooner for this counseling. I am going nuts! My teenage boys took advantage of my car illness and helped talk me into ordering a C7 Z51 coupe (TPW 5/12). Problem is I have an 08 verte. I just sold it to make room for the C7 and I deliver the C6 to its new owner on Monday. I love this car. Just went for a ride to get coffee and wanted to cry. I fear that I will continue to regret this decision. I seriously want opinions of others that made this change. Will I love the C7? BTW I bought a coupe because the IMO the lines are beautiful and I think the verte loses a lot of that special look.

Traded my 2010 GS vert on the Z51 coupe last year. Thought I might miss the top down driving, but haven't. If you loved the 08 you will absolutely love the C7. I have had every generation, several of some, and every one gets better.

I don't share your thoughts on the convertible. The new power top makes open air driving easier than eating pie (I like pie). The new top looks great, top down the vert wins cosmetically hands down. Don't miss my old C6 at all.

I traded my '08 coupe for my C7 vert. Haven't missed the C6 for a second.

I had a very customized '07 coupe that I sold last November and waited 3 months to take delivery of my C7. My C6 was set up how I wanted it, won many trophies at shows and was a GREAT driver. I spent over 10 grand in body upgrades and a complete repaint to JSB.
Not only haven't I regretted the decision, I am VERY HAPPY I made it. My C7 is SO MUCH better than my C6 could ever inspire to be.
Yes, it's THAT good

The C7 is better in every way than my 2006 C6 coupe. And I loved that car and drove it 95,000 fun miles.
But, going Corvetteless for a time? That is something I never dared try. Good luck with that!
You will LOVE your C7. Have fun.

Gee, my Acer computer is an Aspire too. You'd think I'd have known that!
Sure, I make a boo boo once in a while but I'm still so far above and beyond, I can tolerate the occasional hit
Besides, what do I care? I have a C7, baby!

Oh yes you will love it. You better be ready for the attention this car gets. It's almost overbearing at times
Get the diablo tuner it solves the one issue I did not like. The very ( mushy ) stock throttle response.
But other then that the thing is awesome. Most comfortable corvette I've ever owned this one is #5
4500 mile average 22 mpg just my normal driving I used to average 18 in my c6
