On the manual C7, is there a hill-assist function to stop it from rolling backwards when starting on steep San Francisco hills?

I think ONLY the 7-sp. manual has hill assist.

Actually, it is kind of helpful when someone decides to get really close on a steep incline, since there isn't a traditional handbrake lever. I have it in my Dart, and while it isn't the most necessary thing, it is nice to have.

Yes our C7 with 7 sped manual transmission has the hill hold feature. I did not know we had it until it activated once when I was at a red light with a steep hill. About blew me away until I realized what happened. Not sure if you can disable it but I like it, I actual went around the block a second time just to prove I was not dreaming..Only have 170 miles on the car and still learning all the features.
