Saw a Torch Red C7 in the wild today for the first time...
I'd seen several here and there at dealerships on display and a few at a recent Tulip Festival parade near hear along with the first one I ever saw that one of our PNW members bought...
but...
for he first time today, I saw one coming toward me on the freeway this afternoon. At first I didn't recognize it and thought is was some sort of exotic import. As it came closer, I finally recognized that is was the C7. Those running lights are the extra touch that makes it look so good in front, IMHO. All I can say is "Wow."
BTW...it was the right color...RED. One of these days.....
Guess I should clarify that it was the first C7 of any color that I saw today in the wild. FWIW.

The first C7 I saw in the wild was black and it looked wicked, but it was my 2nd C7 encounter that made me decide I HAD to have one... it was red
I was told my order will be at 3000 status on Wednesday

In West Michigan? If yes send me a private message and connect with two owners and a soon to be owner. We had a small c7 meetup Monday afternoon to help the guy who's ordering one.
Edit: On computer now vs iphone. I see you are in Pacific NW, so that wasn't me. Good to hear there are more TR coupes on the road around the country. I have seen 4-5 colors on the road but not my own color.
Have fun. You will LOVE this car.

..I saw my first torch red in the wild on IH 45 north that got off the freeway in the woodlands (in Tx.)I sped up to catch the woman driving this car and pulled also side her at a red light. I honked and waved but I guess she didn't look or wave because I was in my z car not my VY Vette. Anyways, amazing car and beautiful color.

Sigh, another LRG slam. I hate to tell you there is no lack of attention when driving my LRG around. I bet I get as much attention as you'll get in a TR. Not sure why someone would bad mouth someone else's choices...

I love my new crystal red C7 vert (1st Vette), but I also like all other C7 colors.

I ordered a torch red, after debating between red and black. My C6 was victory red. My wife is a little mad I didn't get laguna blue. I've not seen a torch red in person yet, I've actually only have seen a few C7's driving by. I haven't been up close to one yet.
The owner of a car wash near me has a LRG. That was the first one I saw. Also have seen a silver one pulling out of a nearby neighborhood, and a crystal red at a stoplight.

Torch Red and Velocity Yellow both scream to be seen! You can't help but notice them. I was originally going to order a Blade Silver but the dealership got in a Torch Red with the same equipment and I went with that. Glad that I did! All C7's look great regardless of color!

Few weeks will be picking up the Torch Red with Adrenaline Interior with two Carbon Flash Rally Stripes, but it was a very difficult decision to make. Like many others I love all the Corvette colors, especially the Silver. It was between the silver and read with the Laguna Blue running a close second. We did want the read interior, and did not want to go with the blue, besides we had the Electron Blue with Gray interior, so we needed the change.
What did it was when a friend brought his Torch Red C7 over to the house, and it just looked great. What a looker, so we when with it.
I think we made the correct decision, but let you know when we take delivery in a few weeks.....

It's nice to not have to wonder what color my next Corvette will be.

As someone with no dog in the hunt, I don't think the comment was an LRG slam. It was simply a statement that red screams for attention (as is, "Give me a speeding ticket, please"), whereas green does not. It's a lovely color and I suspect no offense was intended.
