A few pics from the bash

Burning Brakes
Great pics....thanks! Depressing to see the "sinkhole" cars....what a tragedy.
The Tiger Shark color is ok...nice contrast with the black vents, etc. How did it look in person?
The Crystal Red rocks .... I'd be willing to bet GM paid special attention to the paint on this one....
Any earth shattering news coming out of the BASH from GM. From everything (which is not much) I've read.....it's rather "ho-hum"....
Thanks again for posting the pics.....

In the above photo: the tail lights. Is this just a pre production mock up or are the lights really going to be non-red? If they go with this shade pictured, I would imagine it would be a big hit.

Thank you very much for taking the time and effort to post all the great pics and post news in this thread and other threads about the bash. You've been a real asset to all of us here at home.

Many thanks for your kind compliments!
None of the cars pictured are in the new Shark Gray. The silver cars are Blade Silver. The only Shark Gray shown in these pics is the trim (i.e. air vents) on the Blade Silver non-Z06 convertible (the "Atlantic Edition").
The Crystal Red coupe shown in the pics was arguably the most beautiful car on display except for the Blade Silver Z06 convertible. Interestingly, the car had a lot of orange peel; I saw no evidence that the paint received any special attention!
Regarding news on the 2015s, I posted some info in another thread; here's a link to the post: http://forums.corvetteforum.com/1586751188-post2.html
Blade Silver.
It's actually a car that GM produced for SEMA. I don't know if the specific car on display is technically a 2014 or 2015 but its intent was to show what the 2015 "Pacific Edition" will look like.
The clear taillights are tentatively going to be used exclusively on the 2015 Z06. I say "tentatively" because they have not yet been formally approved for production. According to one of the GM engineers with whom I spoke, there are still some issues being sorted out.
The interior of the Crystal Red car is solid black, 3LT. (It's referred to as black on the C7, not ebony.)
