Default New Grille Design - Thoughts?

Ok, you've told us in the past that our front grille needed work for the C7. We heard you loud (really loud) and clear and went back to the drawing board for the C7's front grille.

Please check out our post in the Vendor For Sale forums HERE and let us know what you like/don't like here under this post.

We're currently working on a blacked out version of this one for those of you who don't like as much flash.

Thanks, we look forward to hearing from you!

OMG! People complain about the stock "retainer" look. This looks like a full set of braces. Some may like it, but to me it is hideous.

You asked.. I don't like it at all. Way overdone and I'm not a fan of chrome or bling on the front of the car. What's next??? A chrome or polished stainless vent on the hood, front fenders, rear fenders and tail light surrounds along with matching polished skirts and a splitter, some scissor doors, a thick gold chain hanging from the rear view mirror and a driver with a mouth full of gold or silver teeth...

Thanks but no thanks.

I have a policy for my fellow forum members........ when I see something I hate or nor fond of I don't make a comment. Someone likes it good for them!!!

I hope you as a vendor find that someone..........

For my 2 cents worth.........there is no amount of money you could PAY ME.... to put that on my car!!!!

Good luck!!!

Didn't you just contradict yourself? Saying you don't comment if you don't like it?

Maybe black would be better but silver.
And what do you do with the front plate, wire it on? Or leave it off and hope the LEOs don't notice?

A suggestion might be to take a look at the new Z06 grill and mimic that somewhat and offer it in black.

Just my $.02

It appears the trend for those who modify is to black out items that were originally silver colored. What you did is add more silver color as a mod. Not a good move from a business perspective as it would most likely appeal to those who like silver and they may be less apt to mod their car.

No Bill I did not........ but I am with this post. IMHO fellow forum members for me are the members on the forum and NOT Vendors!!! I don't critize other owners choices. I see Vendors here mainly to make a living which is not a bad thing. We owners of the car (and yes I know there are vendors who own the car) are the backbone of the forum helping each other out supporting the hobby and really saving each other time, money and aggravation!!

Yes I know Vendors pay to be here but we buy their products so it is all about us.

Just to help ya further......... you paint your car pink and post a picture of it and ask for comments..... I won't be negative. I won't hammer your choice. You like it go for it!!!!

One could say for a vendor we are doing him a favor with our opinion. Because if a product is not popular well you know that story.

So don't take this response negative!!!! It's not a big deal and frankly I don't refree comments for gramar, spelling etc.

Enjoy your reading and weekend!

Though some might see it as harsh I (Matt) see it as constructive. We as vendors can only do better. I take everything you all give us and bring it right to the designers/owners with that end in mind.
