Default Spacers?

Does anyone know if any vendors sell spacers for the C7 and if it's safe to put them on or not?

Spacers up to 5mm would not be expected to be a problem.

But most tuners would just work out what wheel widths and wheel offsets they want and then get wheels.

Well, wheel widths of 9.5/11 at wheel offsets of 52/74 will put 265/305 tires out flush. The set of 265/305 tires at 18/19 diameters would be about 1/2" shorter than OEM while a 265/305 tire set at 19/20 diameters would be about 1/2" taller than OEM.

Or wheel widths of 9/10.5 at wheel offsets of 50/65 will put the OEM tires out flush. A spacer couldn't do that without longer lug studs

My experience with spacers has not been good and I don't think I'll try it again. I ended up having to replace some studs, which were chewed up when the wheel got lose.
