Now that I have seen it it is really bothering me so I was wondering if anyone else has this issue? I took the car to the dealer (it is still there) and they said that the tips are welded and they cannot be moved. I told them that I am not happy about this and they said they will have someone else look at it tomorrow.

Pictures attached are a) without any markup, and b) with some markup to show what I am talking about.

Appreciate any input on this.
I have had a similar problem and brought it to the attention of my dealer during my first service. The 2 middle pipes almost touch each other the 2 outside pipes are uneven. The dealer tech said he could not do anything because the pipes are welded. He did try by loosening some nuts/clamps but that did nothing and he showed me what he tried to do, Yuk and true or not true?

Thanks, buddy. I think I will leave it alone as you stated, I'm the only one who noticed.

When I took my car in for it's oil change I mentioned it to the dealer. They said "It didn't look that bad. And until Chevrolet does something about it, well just live with it." So I guess if someone really notices a series of cars with certian VINs have this problem and notifies Chevrolet we just have to ride around with crooked pipes. They look like I backed into something.

Someone claimed in one of the paint quality threads that Chevy was working with the exhaust supplier to fix the issue.

That was me. The plant manager told me this last week when I spoke with him in Bowling Green.

Having a friend with a garage lift helped a lot. Thanks to forum members I was able to re-align the tips and keep my baby on the road and not in the dealership. What a fantastic car!

Curious...exactly what did you do to straighten out the exhaust.

I don't know how useful these pictures will be to anyone, but at least you can see some of the process of installing a new exhaust system and what it looks like under the bumper cover???

Default Still a problem on the 15's and 16's?

I finally got tired of looking at my slightly crooked exhaust tips.

mine are straight ...but ... their is a somewhat large space in the middle so I have a twp plus two situation ..good enough where it looks ok ..
In a perfect situation they would all be straight ,,and all 4 spaced perfectly ...I think GM took the easy way out and just went with a good size pace in the middle ...

just another example of awful fit and finish ... GM must spend a fortune on rebuilding these cars with all the nonsense ..roofs ..exhaust ..op ...so much easier and cheaper to do the little things right the first time ....no quality control at all ..
