I use Semi-Chrome applied with a 2.5" diameter X .5" wide layered cotton disc in my drill for the interior and an old cotton rag for polishing the exterior of the tips.

I use a product called Blu-Job. It was designed for the pipes of motorcycles. While it was designed for bluing of pipes or discoloring it also works great without abrasives to polish the heck out of exhaust pipes. Follow the instructions and it will work wonders!

Go to your local jewelry supply store ask for White Diamond ( first step ) and Fabulustre ( second step ). These are both polishes for white metals and will give you a mirror like shine. Use the drill and 4.5" hard felt buff, won't take long and is easy to touch up with the Fablustre.
You might be able to find them at an auto parts store if the owner has done any resto work, or at a lapidary(rock) shop. If not there, try a jewelry repair shop.
These products are great, I polished a set of Ping I10's, looked like chrome when finished. Learned about them from my wife who was a bench jeweler.

Some nice polishing kits here and if you do not want to wait you can a lesser kit but more money at home depot if you do not want to wait for shipping, as I am impatient I am going to opt for the home depot version as that will do the job also.

I use Adams Metal Polish 1&2, I've used the above drill attachment but not really necessary - an applicator, the two polishes and a microfiber will yield:

you might try "Mothers Metal Polish "" Good for almost all metal except I wouldn't use it on painted wheels or other things like that that is not bare metal !!! wayne

I sanded mine with 600 then 1000 then 1500 wet sandpaper then used my dremel tool with buffing wheel and simi-chrome to polish to chrome looking finish
