Is this normal for a Corvette to be sitting in Bowling Green for almost three weeks already? I'm not too concerned if this normal, but it sure doesn't seem to make good business sense for built cars to be just sitting at the plant for this long.
Wow, three weeks now and still sitting in BG!

4d00 was 4 weeks for me. It could be for any number of things including quality checks, repairs or replace defective part(s), and lastly waiting on a full truck going to your dealer or at least to a few nearby dealers.

Check with your dealer, they have the resources to determine the problem and get it corrected. Three weeks seems excessive. My car just went 4D00 Thursday, hoping just a Good Friday correction.

My car was at 4d00. It had 26 miles on it when I picked it up at the dealer. Salesman told me it was because my car was picked randomly off the line for a more detailed inspection and test drive.

My dealer said they hold them for a full load. He says they drop cars off along the way down toward Miami. I'm in Jacksonville.

Melting Slicks
Shades of Nashville, your car is stuck in QC hell. Prepare for additional 2 month wait.

Yea, it's probably waiting for that last 8" snow fall we just got last Wednesday night to all melt.
I used to live in Streamwood from '64 to '75 on Park Blvd close to Schaumburg road. I Fished Bode Lake as a kid.

No Jeff, mine is a silver convertible, non Z51 with red interior, 7speed stick. I thought maybe the FAY might be a problem but the car came through in just under 5 weeks.
We have been here in Schaumburg since 71 and coming up on 9 years retired, how time flies. Enjoy the car when you get and hope you have a good Easter with the family. Tom
