Normal and is covered in your Owners Manual.

This is about the most beat to death topic on the forum. It is normal and will happen in any mode. It's also covered in your owners manual. It's called Ackerman effect.

You probably feel it more in Sport mode because the steering has more effort in Sport than Touring mode

Owner's manual

Tire Chatter/Hop
When driving at slow speeds and in very tight turns, the vehicle may have tire chatter/hop. This is normal and the vehicle does not require service.

It is worse the colder the weather. So it should get better in the summer. We don't get much cold in TX so I haven't noticed it on my C7 (non-Z51). My C6 GS was so bad it would make the neighbors jump and stare when I was backing out of my garage.

Here in So. Cal we've had some very warm weather of late and it's definitely not nearly as noticeable when the tires are warm and I don't think I've even noticed it at all when they are hot and the ground is hot.

If it really bothers you, just don't turn the car as sharp. Either way, it's not a big deal. My C6 Z06 did it too and you it's something you get used to.

I don't have it at all here in Florida due to temp and switching to Nitto Invo's- non run flats.

You need to park it and read the manual a couple times before you again attempt to drive it. I read mine many times over the first couple months and still discovered things I didn't know or was told about here.

My TPW is 5/5 and I've read the manual 5 times. I've also read the infotainment manual multiple times. I want to hit the streets driving rather than reading.
