The question has been asked and answered MANY times. SEARCH is your friend

Cliff notes: could take anywhere from 2 to 5 weeks before you'll be able to pick it up at your dealer.

Mine took 3-1/2 weeks by train from Toledo Ohio to Orange County. Funny but they send it north from BG to Toledo before they send it west.

Looking at my notes, mine departed Toledo, OH at 8:52pm on Feb 25th and arrived in Milpitas, CA (SF Bay Area) at 8:16pm on March 2nd.

Sat in the rail yard in Milpitas waiting to be unloaded and put on a truck until the morning of the 5th when it was delivered to the dealer, about 21 miles away. I picked it up the next day.

So, it took just over 1 week once the car was actually on a train and moving. Sometimes they sit at the origin rail yard for awhile waiting for a rail car.

A) They knew it was for you!
B) They thought going via Key West was a shortcut!

Some would say you were (very) unlucky.

Your experience was ruled by Murphy's law. You had bad weather, a train failure and who knows what else!

Actually weather wasn't an issue in my case.

I live in Nevada. Mine has a 4/28 TBW and my dealer told me it was going to be 3 weeks from the time it leaves BG, goes to Toledo and heads west on the train. But when it gets here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
