Default When are we going to be able to order a 2015

I got the go ahead from the wifey and also paid her Mini-van off today. I have to pay off my solar array by the end of August. I can then start saving for my new 8 speed automatic convertible corvette. Does anyone know the exact time frame that orders will be accepted. Thanks in advance. I have had a 2005 convertible and a 2010 Grand Sport so it is only fitting to buy a 2015 convertible.

It'll be before August - probably May or June.

What would you estimate as the delivery date for early 2015 adopters? Thanks!

Day 1 of production is August 11, so that car will be out of production on 8/15, and will ship on or around 8/18-8/22, which means if by truck it will be at the dealer before the end of August - if by rail add 3-5 weeks to that time.

If you're looking for an 8-speed auto, that will only be available on the Z06 which is due around Jan of 2015. So your wait might be longer and your dealer markup above MSRP will be high for the first Z's. Bet on it.

That is NOT true. It has been formally announced and all over the forum that the 8 spd auto will be available for 2015 on the c7.

How bad of a hit would a guy take if he traded in a 2014 for a comparable 2015??????

I would love to order a Z06 convertible. I just don't see them coming in under 90k. Maybe my 2020 vette can be a Z06 vert
