Default First (and saddest) step to a C7 (used) Stingray!

Today I sold my beloved LeMans Blue C6 convertible. Very sad but recent right severe shoulder injury convinced me that the M6 had to go!

My beautiful Blue Ox will be missed!

Now starts the search for a lightly used C7 (coupe this time with auto). Still trying to decide on a color as they all look great! Probably silver, white or maybe even red.

Patience is a virtue!

Hey, why not blue again?

Anyway, the C6 you just sold is a beautiful car.

You will LOVE the C7.

Good luck in your search - when you find your new C7 you will not even remember you had a C6

I've had a long line of blue convertibles. Time for a break and I want something easier to keep looking clean.

I can relate to that feeling. I sold my 08 C6 a while back and miss having a car. I am now waiting in line for my dealer (deposit paid) here to get information on the 2015 models. Good luck to you in your search for a C7.

Consider Lime Rock Green while looking for a Stingray.

That C6 vert is a pretty sight, Ox and Im sure you had a bunch of good times with it.
I bet the C7 will live up to your expectations and youll make some great new memories without forgetting the C6 beauty you gave up.

Go silver for ease of keeping looking good, I would say. Some silver cars end up looking kind of blah, but I've seen the C7 in silver and with the darker accents it looks pretty interesting.

I understand completely now that I have arthritis in both shoulders. It's very painful to shift the transmission and I never thought this would happen to me. Order a 2015 in the new Shark Skin color because it looks great and will never show much dirt.

Yes all the C7 colors look great and I love my Laguna Blue. But my first choice was Arctic White after seeing it on a C7 at the '13 Corvettes at Carlisle. It was the most gawked at color there. But I resisted because I never buy the same color auto in a row. Damn. Reds are great too, but that color was just before my white one. So, consider one like this........

Had to sneak in a peak of a Laguna Blue too, just in case.

I too sold a LeMans Blue C6 but did the opposite. Went from auto to manual. Man, that was a beautiful color!!!

Initially, I was sold on white until I saw Laguna Blue in person. Then I was sold....so it's blue again on the C7.

Most of us hate to see one of our cars go. But, once you drive your C7 a few times you will not be sorry you traded. Good luck.

A friend has a C7 Z51 coupe in magnetic red and another friend has a base C7 coupe in torch red. I think the magnetic red looks much better than the torch red as it is a darker red and helps hide the black add on vents, tail light surrounds, and the rear diffuser.

When I look at the magnetic red, I see the complete car. When I look at the torch red, all I see are the black vents, etc.

Personally, I'm partial to my wife's AW with black wheels and mirrors + visible carbon roof.
