Default '05 T-Bird or C7 Premier convertable LRG.

Keep my 05 T-bird or trade on a Premier C7? The LRG is growing on me.

Two completely different cars IMO. The T-bird never achieved its full potential. Ford missed the mark by a mile. It was a nice looking car but was never a sports car or performance car. The Corvette is both. If that's what you're looking for then go for it.

If you're just cruising, save the $ and keep driving the Tbird. We had a beautiful charcoal grey and she regrets getting rid of it.

Ah, I know you are right, the car only has 2100 miles on it, love the vette, but the Bird is a rare car. The C7 is very well done.

Lisa,

I take it you are a fan of the LRG, I have not seen it yet in person, what are your thoughts, hard to keep clean or no different than any color? People like it or always ask why not red?

When the decision was made to go for the C7, I originally had my heart set on NRB/Brownstone/Brownstone, but since they don't make a Brownstone top, I decided to look for a Kalahari interior and top. That was until I saw the LRG in person.

As far as the difficulty keeping it clean, it is about the same as LMB, close to, but not quite as bad as black. I traded in my VR Z06 which was a very easy color to keep clean (but the spider wheels were a b*tch).

I've never had anyone ask me why my car is not red, though (my Z did get it's special iconic comments). Both the LMB and LRG get rave comments on how gorgeous the color is.

You should stick the t-bird in storage unit (by me anyway there are alot of self storage places that offer car storage) and get c7

I find that ours is hard to keep clean. People are always drooling on it.

Keep your T-Bird and send me the $ to get the Premiere Vert to go with my Premiere Coupe. (Hey, works for me)

It's rare because so few people wanted to actually buy one.

Worth thinking about....

Ouch, deep down I know you are right and it is a good chance to get good hassle free money out of the Bird.

That's ok. I stole your naming of your "green goddess."
Mine is Lyssa - Greek goddess of the underworld who travels with a pack of wild dogs and drives men to rage and fury. It's so me.

But hard to fit on a license plate.
