Experiences dealing with MacMulkin Chevrolet
I just sent a deposit for 2015 C 7 to them. I am in FL. What are your experiences with them so far? Did you get what you ordered when you were told it would arrive?

I have bought a few Corvettes from Tommy and the transaction and their behavior has always been first class. No broken promises, and communication throughout. I'm local to them so I don't have experience with long-distance delivery, but I'm sure many will chime in with theirs.

I'm in FL as well. My only experience with them is my quote was $1,000 more with my supplier discount than it was at Les Stanford, so I went with LS instead.
I've also hit 3000 after two weeks from my order being officially input.
They'll probably do a courtesy delivery to your local dealer (if they accept), it'll run you 300-500. Much cheaper than shipping the car from NH or wherever they are located, if you were buying one they had in stock.

I'm your neighbor one state to the North and I bought mine through MacMulkin as well -- over the phone and email. Best car buying experience of my life. No kidding. You may have trouble reaching them sometimes (2nd largest Stingray dealer in the nation), but they will deliver as promised.

I've purchased three cars from them. Straight shooters, very good pricing, and they communicate well about whatever I've asked about.

Safety Car
Bought 2 from them...First came off the line the 3rd day of production for the 2008's in July 2007. Flew up drove home. Great transaction!
Just took delivery of my second. 6 weeks from order to my courtesy delivering dealer, again without a hitch. They are great to deal with and totally straight shooters..If you're buying a 2015 I guess you're looking at a September delivery. You'll likely get one of the first because of Macmulkin's allocations. Enjoy the wait!!..

Melting Slicks
Bought my car from them which was in stock already . . . their price and selection were the best, I flew up from Maryland, it was parked outside ready to go with 2 miles on the odometer, did the paperwork in 30 minutes, not one bit of BS or surprise, and then drove it home. The best car buying experience of my life, and I've been at it for over 30 years. You'll be fine.

Just bought my 3rd vehicle (2013 GS, 2014 Stingray and 2011 Silverado) from Tommy Jr. I have been buying cars for over 40 years and NEVER found a dealership that operates in this honest manner. There are plenty of Chevy dealers in the NY/NJ area, but I'd rather drive the 600 miles round trip than deal with any of them. Tommy Jr. is successful because he cares about customers and has a properly trained staff. Have no concerns buying from MacMulkin.

Did everything including the trade in, sold car through autotrader, ran the deal through the dealership. Was a little concerned about all that money being transferred without ever seeing the car but all turned out good. They were a little slow getting back to me sometimes but hey I wasn't their only customer

I ordered thru MacMulkin at end of February based on the good reputation they have on the Forum. MacMulkin made all the arrangements for courtesy delivery to me in Calif. Tommy jr. and his staff have been a pleasure to deal with. You made the right decision in going with them as your dealer.

What do I need to explain? Ron gave me a price, said it had "other GM fees and such" (aka fees I want to put in my pocket), Dennis gave me a price, it was $1000 less.
Do I need to take photographic evidence of the e-mails or something?

to me
Josh,
2LT Black, Auto, Dual Exhaust, Painted Wheels approximately $56,417 Supplier Price
1LT Black, Auto, Dual Exhaust, Painted Wheels approximately $52,671 Supplier Price.
Les Stanford:
Good Morning,
Thank you for the email on the Corvette. On the pricing, I assumed a coupe, please let me know if we need to do a convertible. Pricing as follows:
1) 1-LT, Black/Red, automatic and NPP, $56,540.00 MSRP. $51,614.00 Supplier
2) 2-LT, Black/Red, auto, NPP, $60,750.00 MSRP. $55,152.00 Supplier
We have allotment, allow 6-7 weeks for delivery. Please let me know how I can assist you please.
"
There seems to be quite the price discrepancy here. What was offered to me from Les Stanford is what I paid, which in turn was the price posted on the GM Supplier website as well. The numbers from MacMulkin simply didn't add up. Must be what you guys get for "not paying the dealer fee". I'd rather pay the $99 doc fee that I paid LS for my last car, than pay $1000+ more for the car.
I'm just advising people, if you're going to order from this dealership, check the prices elsewhere.

Absolutely not surprised at the Chevy dealers in Orange County Southern California. I have nothing against Chevy and will probably buy a Vette but the Lexus and Mercedes dealers have nicer facilities and a willingness to let you drive whatever car you want.
