Anyone get the car under MSRP?

There is no requirement to put any money down to order any car. That's entirely up to the dealer. And if no money changes hands when the car is ordered, neither party is obligated to complete the deal, since there is no contract. I have ordered twice in the past with no money down (not Corvettes). The negotiation on price didn't take place until after the car arrived at the dealer. I could have walked away at any time, although I did purchase both times.

Yeah, my local dealer wanted $1000 and I was about to go ahead and put the money down and wait. But suddenly the clouds parted and a single ray of sunshine pointed to a dealer, 90 miles away, who had MY car already in stock.... and I got it for $2200 under MSRP.

Look at the supporting dealers posts in the inventory section. Many start with an asking price of 3 grand below sticker. Forget about some local dealer that might get one Corvette a year and tells you that he has some rare, hard to find item. Anyone who has followed Corvette pricing for years knows that much larger discounts will be forthcoming. Don't let the retailers BS you, there aren't that many guys with 70 grand to spend on a toy in a climate of higher taxation, government suppression of business, and wealth redistribution.

Les Stanford is the only large volume Corvette dealer I am aware of that will do supplier pricing on Z51's. That's where I have mine ordered with supplier pricing confirmed.

I've seen $2-5k off. No one should be paying MSRP.

Friend got $3k off an ordered z51 and that was months ago. The first one in Arizona that was preordered 12 months in advanced. Not all dealers are scum.
