Note that they're asking a fee of $2700 dollars for the test drive! Does Chevrolet advocate this or is it simply out of their hands?

Criminal. This is a Chevy!

I work here in the UAE also but in Dubai. They can do anything
they want. That is why here in Dubai, Liberty Chevrolet is asking over $100k for a well optioned 3LT Z51. Hence that is why I happily paid $72k for my well optioned 3LT Z51 from Dominion Chevrolet in Richmond Va. Now it is happily sitting in my garage in Virginia.

I've been here just a month and have been keeping my eye on dubbizle and seeing prices in the 100k range for a well equipped car, but thought these were private sellers.

I was curious to see what a GM dealer would charge here in the UAE. I lived in Saudi and remember them having a premium for the 2007 Corvette, but what I'm seeing here is criminal!

I rather apply the 10000 AED for shipping a car from the U.S.

Don't have to go that far....here in Colorado one dealer is asking $100,000 for a Stingray. There is just a minor $20,000 market adjustment added to it. No biggie!

That is what I would do if I was in the market to have one here. I shipped my 370Z here for about $3500 including shipping and customs on this end at Sheik Zayed Port in Abu Dhabi. Good Luck in your search for a new C7.....

It's a premiere edition and the actual MSRP was $77,450 (judging by the VIN he ordered it before the price increase). So his market adjustment is really $23,200! LOTS OF THESE IN TEXAS FOR THE OLD MSRP.

better response than (then?) most dealers it seems. cant help but wonder if they charge you 2,700 for a test ride (presume, non-refundable), what they charge for the car--be it the C7 or the Z51.
btw, you can bet your car that gm has no control whatsoever over AD.
